This page explains how cookies and similar browser storage are used on The Group Gift Guide.

What we do not use

We have not added advertising cookies, marketing or retargeting tags, social media tracking pixels, or non-essential analytics to this site. Nothing here builds an advertising profile of you or follows you to other websites.

Because we do not set non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we do not currently show a cookie consent banner. Under UK rules, consent is needed for storage that is not strictly necessary, and we have none of that at present.

What may still be used

Pages are delivered through hosting, content delivery and security infrastructure. That infrastructure may use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent storage, for example to route requests correctly, balance load, or protect the site against abuse. Storage of this kind is limited to what is required to deliver the page you asked for and to keep the service secure.

We do not claim the site sets no technical storage at all, because that depends on infrastructure behaviour we do not control in every detail. What we can say is that no advertising, marketing or measurement technologies have been added by us.

Managing storage in your browser

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under settings for privacy, site permissions or site data. You can clear stored data for this site specifically, or block cookies generally. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect how some websites work, although this site is designed to be readable without it.

If this changes

If we ever introduce analytics, embedded media, a newsletter or any other non-essential technology, we will update this page first, explain what it does, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The date at the top shows when this notice was last reviewed.
